Plastic Injection Mold Design & Fabrication

OEMspd designs and fabricates plastic injection molds in manufacturing parts for all types of plastic products including electrical & electronics products. OEMspd uses the following advanced CAD /CAM software tools :

· Euclid 3

· Unigraphics Ver 19.0

· HyperMill Ver 8.1

· AutoCAD 2005 & 2000

· Rapid Tooling

After the design validation and manufacturing process creation is complete, the process moves to pre-production where computer instructions detailing the exact tool paths, tolerance levels, and type of mill tips and machines are downloaded into the machining center. When the mold master, milled from graphite or copper blocks, adheres to the original specifications, the mold and mold base are produced through a combination of precision milling, grinding, and electro-discharge machining (EDM). OEMspd has experience in working with all types of tooling materials including aluminum, unhardened and hardened steel for hand-load and cam action tools.
